Built for a smaller profile

Smaller tag, smaller battery.

The biggest advantage is form factor and battery life. Because V-Tag Beacon doesn't participate in the mesh network the way a standard V-Tag does, it needs a much smaller battery — which means a much smaller tag. It easily supports miniaturization, so it fits on just about any asset in your facility. Real estate is rarely an issue.

How it works

The nearest Gateway wins.

Gateways installed at each tracked spot. V-Tag Gateway units are placed at each location where you want to enable location tracking.
The closest Gateway wins. It's identified as the "winner" Gateway and automatically updates the tag's location.
Rapid location updates. Beacon technology allows for very rapid updates — a good fit for personnel tracking, where people move constantly and a fast update can matter in a hazardous environment.
